The Parish of Minety lies approximately six miles
south of the market town of Cirencester; this small
rural community is a delightful mix of village houses,
ancient farms and beautiful open countryside. Its close
proximity to the towns of Cirencester, Malmesbury and

The area can trace its roots back to Roman times, the
nearby River Thames has throughout history ensured that
local settlements and trading posts continued to thrive.
Although Minety was essentially a farming community,

to flourish well into the nineteenth century.

sees ancient buildings sit easily alongside more modern
design, ensuring that a true village |
